This is the way that things should be made. Leica has developed some of the greatest cameras in the past, this one is a little over the top. I love to watch the production on both the video production and the work on how the camera is made. We love to do work like this, showing people how things are made, or learning videos on how things are done. Check it out this is really cool.

OK enough of the marketing mumbo jumbo, we built a website for a local tree removal service and built them an online tree removal calculator. We are now working to deploy that app as a mobile tool for estimators in the field. This allows for people to quickly get an estimate, and make a decision on the spot.

jQuery Mobile development

We have been using jQuery libraries in Web Development projects for a few years now. We build image galleries, transitions, text animations and more. It has been, for web design, a good start to replacing the interactivity of Flash, which I personally have used for years. Roll forward to the implementation of Mobile Development we are taking libraries like these and building both mobile versions of web sites we have built and also use some of the code in building iOS and android apps as well. Check it out is pretty cool!

This new magazine ad will be going into Hagerty Magazine which is a world wide publication on sports cars. We developed the ad for Reid Vann as they are a collector and repair restoration company in St. Louis, with a wide range of rare vintage Porsche 356 models. We also manage and develop their website and web marketing.

Mobile future

As the world changes and we look to ways not only to save energy but to reduce consumption in everyday office space. Gone will soon be the day when we can or should have all the lights blaring in an office or AC running in conference rooms that are not being used.

Let’s look at sci-fi which has always been a starting point for ideas that become integrated into every day society. Think back to the communicator on the show Star Trek, it looks and acts much like the first flip phones. You would see people talking on the phone in their cars, walking down the street and while being beamed up in the elevator ( something that always drives us crazy, am I right? ). Now that we all carry a phone, especially those of us that carry a phones that do everything. Now that we carry these devices with connectivity, Bluetooth, mobile web browsing and instant access to everything social we are attached and connected everywhere we go.

Let’s take all of this one step further and make it green. Imagine having your mobile device control your environment. As you enter a room certain elements are controlled by your device, let’s say the lighting as you enter a room or get closer to a light source elements start to get brighter. You site at your desk and your picture frame pulls from a slideshow on your phone. The tv pulls a list of all of your favorite stations into a playlist and goes through them for your review. Of course the stereo grabs your play list and you can control it right from the device. Even that really cool thermostat The Nest being controlled by your device just by coming into the room.
